Please help??? I don't understand The table shows the values of y for each value of x. Part A: Does the table represent a relation that is a function? Justify your answer by using the values shown in the table. Part B: The function f(h) shown below represents Kylie's total earning from working in a cafe for h hours of work. f(h) = 15h + 5 Calculate and interpret the meaning of f(8)? Part C: Write an ordered pair to represent the input and output of the function in Part B when Kylie works for r hours. (I'll put the table below)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

how far did you get with part A?

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

I don't really understand it in the first place @jim_thompson5910

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

well a function is only possible if every x value is paired with exactly one y value so for instance, if you were to have x = 3 correspond with y = 1 and y = 2, then it's not a function are there any repeated x values?

OpenStudy (breathlessreaper):

No repeated x values

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so each x value corresponds to one y value (each input generates exactly 1 output)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

that means we have a function

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

if for instance we had this table |dw:1400369747714:dw|
