OpenStudy (jessiegonzales):

what are the excluded values of the function? y=-2/5x+40

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm assuming the problem is (2/(5x)) + 40. Remember, PEMDAS matters. 0. The fraction of (-2/(5x)) has to be a real number. Which means the denominator can't equal to 0. At x = 0, we get -2/0, which is not a real number.
