Iris has been studying an invasive population of snails. This particular snail has no local predators so the population grows wildly. She has observed that the population follows an exponential rate of growth for fifteen years. 1.Create your own exponential function, f(x), which models the snail population. You will need to identify the principal population of the snails and the rate of growth each year. Explain to Iris how your function shows the principal population and the rate of growth, in complete sentences.

@agent0smith plz help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

youre supposed to make your own function with something like t for time and some other letter for rate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me do that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

actually never mind lol sry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cn yhelp me out with something different

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ill post a new thing but can you comment so I can give you a medal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Do you have any idea at all? You just need f(x) = A(1+r)^t where A is initial pop. and r is the rate.
