OpenStudy (abhisar):

Is there five kingdoms ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah. and there is different types of organisms

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Ok This kind of classification is called as five kingdom classification, Proposed by RH Whittaker. According to this scheme whole living organisms are divided into five kingdoms namely, Monera, Mycota/Fungi, Protista, Animalia, Plantae

OpenStudy (abhisar):

Each kingdom is again classified into phylums. Then each phylum into classes, Then each classes into order. Similarly each order into Families then genus and finaly species
