Please help, I'll give medals.

hartnn (hartnn):

can you identify any 2 points on that line ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(-1,4), (0,2), (0,1), (2,-2) that's all the points

hartnn (hartnn):

-1,4 and 2,-2 are correct

hartnn (hartnn):

and 0,2 also but the last one is 1,0 anyways you need only 2 points

hartnn (hartnn):

say you take 0,2 and 2,-2 are your 2 points

hartnn (hartnn):

now use the slope formula! The slope of the line through points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is given by : \(\huge m=\frac{y_1-y_2}{x_1-x_2}\) now, just put the values and find m.

hartnn (hartnn):

use x1 = 0 , y1 = 2 x2 = 2, y2 = -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How o.o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the slope is -2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m=2-4/0-(-1) =2/-1 =-2
