n aquarium sells cubic fish tanks of different sizes. The length of the small size fish tank is 2 feet. The dimensions of the jumbo size fish tank are double the dimensions of the small size fish tank. Which expression can be used to find the ratio of the volume of the small size fish tank to the volume of the jumbo size fish tank?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well you could use distributive property by first right like A as the Variable and putting A=2A Because the jumbo is 2 times the size of the mini one

@openstudyproblemsolve ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well most likely do Length times width times height. Volume formula.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@openstudyproblemsolve with what numbers?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@openstudyproblemsolve I have no idea how to solve this =/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well first it says 2 feet. Correct? It then says that the other is 2 times bigger. 8x2=16 then it could be length times width 8x2 still making it 16!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what does that mean?!?!?!? @openstudyproblemsolve

@kropot72 can you help please?
