Which ratio represents the probability of drawing a red card from a standard deck of 52 cards? 1;52 1;8 1;4 1;2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/2. Half the cards are black, and half the cards are red.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are 52 cards in a standard deck. 13 of these cards are hearts, and 13 are diamonds; both of those suits are red. So, there are 26 red cards. These 26 cards includes two aces already; the only aces left are the ace of clubs and ace of spades. This brings our total of cards to 28. So, the probability of drawing a red card or ace is 28/52, or 7/13 therefore, 1;2
