OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

What is the measure of angle JEA, the angle formed by the intersection of Elm Street and Avenue A? A. 137* B. 75* C. 73* D. 43*

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

@iPwnBunnies

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

http://prntscr.com/3ki92r Do you think it's that one?

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

um what is that?

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

?? What is what? Do you think that's the angle they're talking about? In pink.

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

i think so

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

DUHHHH Angle JEA is where the E is

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Nin, pls. :3

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

Nin be nice

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

i always ask now before i open a link

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

ppl on here are unpredictable

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

anyway help mehh

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

180 - (105+32)

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Are you implying that you can't trust me.

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

It was a suspicious link

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

when dealing with parallel lines, you will be dealing with congruent angles http://www.mathsisfun.com/geometry/parallel-lines.html

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

parallel lines with transversal line

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

math isnt fun

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

only if you can't use the blob of cells in that skull :P

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

My teacher wants me to list what i need to complete this problem and since i dont think there is a specific name for this 180 - (105+32) so what info about the problem can i write down that will be helpful?

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

i try so hard but my brain just poofs when math goes beyond basic

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

read up about the topic first then try to solve the problems by yourself you know that is what learning is about...

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

i cant learn like that poop thats why im here

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

ciao

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

are there any traps to this problem if my other question cannot be answered?

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Well, it's one of those problems with a straight line that gets blocked off. (Idk the term >_>) But like, the angles have to add up the 180 degrees. The top one is 105, but the bottom one is bisected. So, like, I'm doing the step before what Nin wrote. 180 = 105 + 32 + ? ? is the angle E.

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

Intersection i think

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

i got 43

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

Yesh. And I don't even think it's intersection. Whatever. That's why Nin told you to read up. :3

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

So are there any traps? Traps

OpenStudy (ipwnbunnies):

No, an intersection is where two lines cross, lol. And well, the trap was the whole thing really. Knowing you had to use some proof I don't know about to add up the angles of a straight line. Plus, the bottom part. You had to realized that bottom angle created is bisected.

OpenStudy (elisaneedshelp):

ya got blocked by a line crossing it lol idk
