Which spreadsheet would you use to compute the first five partial sums of the arithmetic series an = -11(n-1) + 19? here are choices: http://prntscr.com/3kjzcd
@Phebe here is the other post
im here sorry im late lol
It is obvious from looking at the B column of options A and B that they do not represent the function correctly as column A still has N as a variable which would produce and error and column B has -11^n-1 which is not in our original function
anything helps better late than never :D
yes i knew that a was compltely wrong
C
my guess was C but i am probably wrong
Options C and D are equivalent in column B so we look at Column C whihc for Option C we notice that it says B1+C1 which would produce an error or just multiply the B column by 2 which is not a result for this arithmetic sequence so we can conclude that option D is best
hahahaha that was perfect timing
ikr lol
john could you best answer phebe please?
after of course we figure out if C or D is correct
Column C looks to be the sum of the sequences meaning S1= N1, S2= N1+N2, S3= N1+N2+N3, etc.
yes i learned about that earlier this unit
but isnt that an arithmetic sequence?
alright so im looking at it again and i see that D has the starting number included, should that be there?
