Is this right? Prove that the sum of the measures of the interior angles of a triangle is 180°. Be sure to create and name the appropriate geometric figures. <4 <5 <1=180 <5=<3 <4=<2 so <2 <3 <1=180

random231 (random231):

what are 5,4,3,2,1 ?

random231 (random231):

i mean where is the the diagram?

random231 (random231):

|dw:1400503603767:dw|

random231 (random231):

a diagram like this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's an essay question I can't draw one, I really don't know how to put it in paragraph form

random231 (random231):

okay i have drawn it for you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But like how do I turn that into a paragraph?

random231 (random231):

well put it this way: A line parallal to the base of the triangle is drawn which passes through the opposite vertex. The sum of the angles 1, 4 and 5 is equal to 180 degrees. As angles 4 and 2 |dw:1400504032957:dw| are adjacent angles taking AB as the transversal and angles 5 and 3 are adjacent angles taking AC as transversal <4=<2 and <5=<3. so <1+<2+<3 = 180.
