supplementary angles are two angles that add up to 180 degrees. so....<3 + <4 = 180 <3 is 117 so sub in 117 for <3 117 + <4 = 180 <4 = 180 - 117 <4 = 63 degrees

yep...if their supplementary they equal 189...but if their complementary, they add up to 90
