help?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

some believe this is part of a test; but i cant be sure if it is or not from the screen shot. by what convention do we name congruent objects? what do their names tell us?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its not a test

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and idk what convention means

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I go to k12.com and it is a math test. you get a grade on it and on k12 they have strict rules not to cheat.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

by convention, americans drive in the right lane. convention is just a standardized way that people agree to do something for the purpose of bringing order to chaos. in order to communicate the congruency of 2 objects, they are named congruently as well; equal parts for equal parts

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no its not dude stop trying to get me in trouble the test isnt for like 3 or 4 days for me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and its not cheating im asking how to do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not trying to get you in trouble i am trying to prevent bad things from happening

OpenStudy (amistre64):

your concern is noted :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

im not cheating okay is that clear i dont ask questions on test or quizzes

OpenStudy (amistre64):

we can compare the names by writing them one on top of the other, agreed?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well it is a test so imjs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and okay

OpenStudy (amistre64):

a b c d x y z w now ab= xy bc = yz cd = zw da = wx for comparisons

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so like im not sure what to do with then

OpenStudy (amistre64):

write one name one on top of the other, and compare the parts they ask for

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you

OpenStudy (amistre64):

lm is equal to ?? what part of the other one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (amistre64):
