ryan played hockey for 3/3/4 hours on saturday and for 1/3/5 on sunday how many hours did he play hockey during these two days

hero (hero):

He worked for 3 + 3/4 hours on Saturday and 1 + 3/5 hours on Sunday. So in total he worked for (3 + 1) + (3/4 + 3/5) hours. Add up the Whole numbers, then add up the fractions.

4/6/9

You added the fractions incorrectly. In order to add fractions, the denominators must be the same. So you have to find the LCD and create equivalent fractions for 3/4 and 3/5 before adding.
