the ratio of chairs to tables in the restaurant was 10 to 3. if there was 130 tables and chairs altogether, how many tables did the restaurant have?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i would say there are 100 chairs and 30 tables

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because \(100:30\) is the same as \(10:3\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea so would i

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cuz just add the zero and u have to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

have to only use ten and three just adding one zero to see how u get 130

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would i set it up as a ratio box? @omgqueen @satellite73

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u could have 100 chairs and than 30 tables cuz when u add it u could 130 basically just add one zero just like 10+3=13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank u
