Use complete sentences to explain how you would use graphing technology to find the solutions of 0 = 2x^2 − 3x + 0.5. What do the solutions of 0 = 2x^2 − 3x + 0.5 represent on the graph of the equation?

to find the solutions to 0 = 2x^2 − 3x + 0.5, you would graph y = 2x^2 − 3x + 0.5 and look for the x-intercepts the x-intercepts represent the solutions to 0 = 2x^2 − 3x + 0.5 Why is this? well in general, the equation is y = 2x^2 − 3x + 0.5 when you plug in y = 0, you are basically saying "find all points that lie on the curve that also lie on the x axis, since y = 0 here"
