i believe in your previous question you received an answer that deserved more than just one medal, and it was quite easy to understand. superior answer, but i'll try to explain it differently. here's the general procedure for multiplying complex numbers: think of i as a variable that is the square root of -1. |dw:1400544590037:dw| first thing we'll do is just expand this number, so do the normal FOIL thing. don't worry about evaluating the multiplication, just leave it as is. e.g., first term is -4 * -3
