which type of sensory receptor is responsible for smell and taste? (1 point) photoreceptor thermoreceptor mechanoreceptor chemoreceptor

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@summeraad This was up yesterday as well I think. Look at the prefixes: photo, thermo, mechano, and chemo. Well, photo is light, thermo is heat, mechano is mechanical (forces such as pressures), and chemical. What seems the most reasonable? Do we taste/smell light? Heat? Etc.

@mrdoldum chemoreceptor?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@summeraad yep.
