A. The units will be in rooms/floor To find out this number, we take the number of rooms on 3 floors, then divide it by the # of floors (3), which will give us the number of floors per room: 24 rooms/3 floors = 8 rooms/floor (Units are important) B. We multiply our unit rate of room/floor by the number of floors. This makes since because when we go: 25 floors * (8 rooms/floor), there's a floor in the numerator and denominator, which means they cancel, giving us the total number of rooms. 25 * 8 = 200.
