Sorry I know this is language arts. Take that away from the boy. Is it a : A. Phrase B. Independent clause C. Dependent clause D. None of the above
phrase is a sequence of two or more words arranged in a grammatical construction and acting as a unit in a sentence. Independent clause is a sentence that does not rely on an additional continues sentence, such as using a comma etc.. in other words, a complete sentence. for example, i like Dogs. is independent clause, it is one complete sentence, and it makes sense dependent clause is the opposite of independent clause, which means, it need that extra sentence to fill it's hole. for example, "when i run, i get tired." is an example of dependent clause. as you can see if i had left the sentence as "When i run" it looks like it requires additional words to complete the sentence.
oh ok so its independent clause then
not quiet
so its just a phrase? sorry I just started ged online just today and I forgot all this stuff @helpme1.2
that's what i would go with
you can always use Google to reference back to their definition if you happen to forget :)
