I give sparkles and medallions to the brilliant individual who can answer this question correctly!!! *^o^*

OpenStudy (.th3_m0nst3r.):

Which of these is a function of the circulatory system? A. removing wastes from tissues B. delivering carbon dioxide to cells for cellular respiration C. transferring impulses from one cell to another D. all of the above

OpenStudy (.th3_m0nst3r.):

I honestly am stumped on this one. I think it might be A though.

It's removing waste from tissues, A

@Ahiru Is right. When we metabolize alcohol we actually breathe some of it out via our lungs. Additionally, if our blood sugar gets too high and we enter ketoacidosis, the excess ketones and sugars are sometimes removed via the lungs. This is why diabetics with very high blood sugars have breathe that smells like extra sweet fruit bunch or similar.

Thank you both, so much!! (: and thank you @mrdoldum for the wonderful explanation!!! :D
