For an egg drop, my design had a parachute and therefore terminal velocity. I need to find the final velocity. The givens are initial height (5.2m), time (.97seconds), finally height (0m), and mass (.06kg). Is initial velocity assumed to be 0m/s, and how do I find final velocity if I do not have the force?

This object is in freefall... Therefore, no velocity at the beginning.

Remember to substitute (Hint hint). F=ma F(gravitational) = .09(9.8 m/s^2)

Using what you know about Acceleration and free fall you can find the final velocity before the object hits the floor by having the time alone if there is no initial velocity before release, since you know the acceleration is\[9.80 \frac{ m }{ s^2 } \] and that it is a function of change in velocity over time what would you do to find the final velocity during a given period of time?
