Suppose you are studying a fruit fly’ s DNA and you discover a gene for antenna length on chromo- some 2. What word describes its location, and where would it be found in other fruit flies’ DNA?

@Seriousboy90 The location is called a locus. Plural is loci. It will be in the the same location on the same chromosome in all fruit flies of the same species and many fruit flies of different species, and even some other insects.
