@alydawn523 It is the first one (of those answers). I don't like the answers but it certainly does not cause overpopulation, nor does it allow learned traits to become heritable traits. And it certainly works on more than just structural traits.

@Abhisar It is a bit tricky though because a behavior that does increase fitness that can be taught is not unheard of, especially in humans. But I think we must use the most strict definition of "heritable" for this question—meaning genetically heritable.
