Hi @miss-stone , Welcome to openstudy.com Continuous variation occurs or appears in every generation. These are most common and mostly small changes. The variations are due to crossing over and random mating. Discontinuous variations are rare, appear abruptly or suddenly in any generation. These are large and significant changes and are result of mutation.
