Find the missing value to the nearest whole number. sin x= 2/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ya don't you divide it by sin?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That would be the case if you knew the value of X but since we do not you have to do the opposite of sine which is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cosine?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Have you learned about inverse sine yet?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, I'm in Geometry should I? Because I have my end of the year exam tomorrow and this is the review.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well what you could do is use sine inverse to eliminate the sine from the left hand and add sine inverse to the right hand and your new equation would look like this:\[X = \sin^{-1} (2/3)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ok how do I imput sin^-1 in a calculator?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2ND sine
