Yeah...nw i think both the answers are rite here..some snakes smell with their tongues..and SNAKES are also repltiles..so yeah both are rite here..:) But as we know from the qn its specified 'Most reptiles'...so I'll also go with smell...:)

Actually it relies on it's sense of smell because fish don't have developed taste buds.
