Orlando is making a design for a logo. He begins with a square measuring 22 inches on a side. The second square has a side length of 17.6 inches, and the third square has a side length of 14.05 inches. Which square will be the first square with a side length of less than 10 inches? @iambatman @e.mccormick @Shay17 Help pls?

@ankit042 here is the question i need help with

OpenStudy (ankit042):

K I am not completely sure but this looks like a Geometric progression a=22 ar = 17.6 ar^2 = 14.05

OpenStudy (tester97):

so like geometric sequence?

OpenStudy (ankit042):

Yeah but not 100% confident about this. r = 1.25 using that third term should be 14.08

OpenStudy (tester97):

14.08 is not one of my answer choices......here is the full screenshot http://prntscr.com/3l5azm

OpenStudy (ankit042):

No I meant third square should have been 14.08 anyway I think it will be 5th square
