When we perform "elementary row operations" or "Elementary Column-Operations" on a matrix to find inverse, Can we perform both "row-operations" and "column-operations" simultaneously in a matrix problem..... ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plz help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ArkGoLucky can u please help me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay by column operations, do you mean moving the rows up and down?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same like row operations, columns operations also can be done.... but can they be done at the same time in same sum problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no I'm pretty sure they have to be done separately. They affect each other.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can we perform these two operations on when solving determinant?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but simultaneously?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't think you can do it simultaneously

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Arkgoluky .... u r wrong ..... we can perform... i found it out through google.....
