Select the pair of equations whose graphs are perpendicular. A. y = 2x – 7 x + 3y = 3 B. 2y = –3x + 5 2x – 3y = 4 C. 3x + 6y = 8 y = 3x – 8 D. 5x – 8y = 9 12x – 5y = 7

OpenStudy (shamim):

ur given equations r overlapping

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

for real? dude graph each pair in separate graphs and see which one is perpendicular... there should be one point where both lines intersect.

OpenStudy (shamim):

m1*m2=-1 its for two perpendicular line

OpenStudy (shamim):

we can try B option

OpenStudy (shamim):

can u tell the slope of ur first equation of line m1=?

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

something doesn't look right

OpenStudy (luigi0210):

You don't exactly have to graph them. If you put them in slope-intercept form, you can look for slopes. They will be negative reciprocals.

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

I'm seeing A. y = 2x – 7 x + 3y = 3 as one big equation that's not written correctly

OpenStudy (usukidoll):

meh I like graphing... I can see it and back up my claim :)
