Tiny tiny tiny particles doing, crazy stuff, for real. I can't answer such a question. It's way to big, I'm studying it and I need two years just to get an idea, what is really going on

Quantum Mechanics treats subatomic particles and their interactions not as small objects with mass in a Newtonian sense obeying Newtons Laws but as things that are described as waves. this has resulted in great success especially in describing atomic phenomena .
