OpenStudy (meilendurcer):

Solve for x: x - 2 > 2x + 12 A. x > 14 B. x < 14 C. x > -14 D. x < -14

OpenStudy (phebe):

D is the answer

OpenStudy (meilendurcer):

can you explain?? i mean why it's D

OpenStudy (phebe):

put -12 on both sides then work it from there nd u'll get D k

OpenStudy (meilendurcer):

oh ok thanks

OpenStudy (meilendurcer):

@chasengnou.kevin can you double check this? i found another answer and it was A so im confused.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is c, reason why, if you plus two to negative two, itll be zero, add that to 12, that's 14, minus 1 from x is zero, minus that to 2x, itll be just x, get it?

OpenStudy (meilendurcer):

@chasengnou.kevin yes actually thanks! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thank you, medal?
