multiply the entire equation by x*(x+2)*40

\(\dfrac{1}{x} + \dfrac{1}{x+2} = \dfrac{9}{40}\) multiply thru by x*(x+2)*40, you get : \(40(x+2) + 40x = 9x(x+2)\)

simplify a bit and u wil see its just a quadratic, you can solve it
