do you know how to convert a log equation to an exponential equation ?

okay so it is done like this suppose you have a log equation \[log_x(y) = z\]how would you convert it to an exponential equation? 'z' becomes the exponent 'x' the base and 'y' the result and you get \[x^z = y\]can you try to apply here?
