Not a right triangle so you will need to use the law of sines to find the missing side

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if I use the law of sines then \[\frac{ \sin 98 }{ 23 }=\frac{ \sin B }{ b }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh never mind I just realized i can find B

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct and since you have 2 out of the 3 angles you can solve for the third by knowing they all add up to 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[B = 180 - 98 - 39\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

B=43 and b=15.84

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct!
