Question

So i wrote a poem, it's kind of deep. Opinions please.

Borderline

Once or twice, the monster comes alive
I contrive
Blinded my soul, tattered my skin
The way to punish my sin
Diminished the air
My conscious stripped bare
Vacation in my bones
The death I’ve cloned
Neither run nor escape
The form not reshaped
This life, I cannot commit
The two have split
My room, I wait
One grows in self hate
The floor awaits, like the coffin that soon will be
The two waits silently till the day he’s free

After you read the whole thing, read every other line starting with the first till the end. And then the second to the end.

I really enjoyed your poem. I really can't put into exact words, why or what made me like it but, very creative, and dark. I like the shorter verses, because no one really wants to sit there and read an essay length poem. Good job ^-^
