Arccos means inverse cosine. If you find the cos 44.2, you get .7169106077. Then if you take the inverse cos of it, you're back to 44.2 degrees

arcos (cos) is cancel out, so that you just have 44.2 degree

Yah 44.2 degrees :) The only time this would not be the case is when the given angle is not between 0 and 180 degrees. Then we would get a different result than what we started with ( since the arccos function only gives us values between 0 and 180 degrees ).
