|dw:1400733137242:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Stem= tens Leaf= ones

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and range is just the difference between the largest and smallest values

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@NeedHelpQuick546 no i dont, and @ D.Q. so you just connect the two of them to equal one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1400733282128:dw|What does the second number equal.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8 is supposed to be on the leaf side.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be 78?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes. Now, like NeedHelp said, take the biggest value and subtract the smallest value. Look at your set of numbers again and try to find the range.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you try to explaining it using my math problem? that way i find it easier...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The biggest value in your set of numbers given is: 43 The smallest value in your set of numbers given is: 20 43-20= the range

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@D.Q. you just blew my mind lol i get it now(: thanks!
