If I were to write/compose a song, how would I make it known?

First you want to copyright it, then put it out on the net on a social media site. (Soundcloud youtube or groveshark)

Yeah, you definitely want to copyright it. I'm about to attempt that for the first time. Its cheaper to copyright it though if your doing several songs at the same time.

online or through the mail (online is alot faster). You can go through eCo system or the US copyright office (www.copyright.gov)
