i will forever love you if you can help me please :) Use graphs and tables to find the limit and identify any vertical asymptotes of the function. i attached the image below

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to draw the graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|dw:1400770463449:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is that right?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i doubt that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then i don't know @aajugdar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you come up with that graph, how did you evaluate

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when the line is reaching the point 4 from the left closest to 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm at x = 0 x/x-4 = 0/-4 = 0 so doesnt it pass thru 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it does. i can tell the vertical asymptote is 4 . so if i sub x for -4 would the limit be -1?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it would be 0.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why would it be 0.5?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

put -4 in x/x-4 -4/-4-4 = -4/-8 = 4/8=1/2= 0.5
