OpenStudy Ambassadors 7 Online
OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hey I've been trying my best to help everyone. I would like to become an ambassador.

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

Ambassadors are representatives of OpenStudy. We answer questions from new users. We welcome and greet users. It's our job to be the embodiment of OpenStudy's ideologies. Before I go any further, there are strict requirements you must meet. ◘ Be thirteen or older ◘ Have a form of ID - excluding a birth certificate ◘ Have no serious offenses on your record ◘ If you have serious offenses, an additional process may be required ◘ Have read the Code of Conduct and Terms, and understand the rules Do you meet these requirements? If so, then please read the next part of the process. There are some key behaviors that Ambassadors must express ◘ As an Ambassador, you agree to always be kind and understanding ◘ As an Ambassador you should let users know you appreciate them ◘ Congratulate and award positive behavior, and discourage negative behavior ◘ Lead by example! ◘ Respect the staff - never talk ill of OpenStudy ◘ Never disclose personal information if shared with you Do you feel like Ambassadorship is something you would want to do? Do you want a bright future with OpenStudy? Then become an Ambassador! [NOTE: The application, or form, is often subject to change. A message will be posted in either the Ambassador Group or OpenStudy Feedback with details on how to submit an application] You can contact @e.mccormick , @thomaster , @blues or @bostonblue for additional Ambassador opportunities. form link: https://docs.google.com/a/openstudy.com/forms/d/14kZejqKJuYBxuRCxCjwa-rAUtScOYB6KTlrZDmYLTGM/viewform http://blog.openstudy.com/2014/01/30/openstudys-diplomatic-corps/ Next batch should be in June, and new info might be announced in a few weeks.

Personal note: Hi :) I was looking through some of your questions answered stuff and I noticed that you are quite the social person ;) which is great because ambassadors are supposed to be welcoming to new users and approachable to anyone and everyone ^_^ my only tip for you would be to brush up on the rules of this site, code of conduct etc http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct as well as trying to help with more questions... those who become ambassadors often get flooded with help requests whenever they go online, but if one cannot help with a lot of the questions themselves... (it makes me itch) and makes other users complain that the people who are supposed to be representing this community are not helping them. :/ those are just my personal opinion. you can choose whether or not to follow my advice, good luck! :)

thomaster (thomaster):

@sleepyhead314 bostonblue isn't in the ambi team anymore. So if this is a standard text you copy paste in questions like these, change bostonblue to hartnn, you forgot him :P

OpenStudy (sleepyhead314):

oh right xP whoops, thanks for catching that @thomaster :)

OpenStudy (uri):

@sleepyhead314 laugh out loudddd. ;)

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):
