The probability of an event happening is: \(p(event) = \dfrac{number ~of ~ways ~event ~can ~happen}{~total ~number ~of ~ways ~all ~events ~can ~happen} \)
Now you need to find two numbers and divide them. The first number (numerator above) is the number of ways the event you want can happen. You want a marble that is not white. How many marbles are not white? The second number (denominator above) is the total number of ways the event can happen. That is the sum of the numbers of all marbles.
