Is the sentence simple, compound, or complex? My mother's family is from Scotland, but my father's family comes from Ireland. A. complex B. compound C. simple

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it A. complex?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is B, Compound. This is because there are two parts of the sentence. The first part says one piece of information, while the second part relays another. And so, it is compound.
