HELP PLEASE!! GIVE OUT MEDAL TO BEST ANSWER!! In which sentence are all pronouns used as objects of a preposition used correctly? A. Daniel made a boat for they to race. B. Ben gave the book to him and we. C. The flowers were for she. D. Mr. Gonzalez traveled with the Smiths and us.
Answer A is the best and the correct one
Um, no @Dbzfan836 it should be 'Daniel made a boat for them to race'. I'd say D
But that is grammatically improper. A is the only one of the four the is both grammatically correct and contains a properly placed pronoun
I'm confused
Well, unless @XoXo_SmileyFace_XoXo wrote A wrong, I'm positive it's D
I didn't write it wrong because I copy and pasted it:)
So it's D
Well, they all contain pronouns, but three of them either put them in the wrong place or are grammatically incorrect. the easiest way to find out is by reading it aloud. if it doesn't sound right, it is most likely grammatically incorrect.
for example, C is grammatically incorrect. Read it aloud to check. The flowers were for she.
And D is just fine to read aloud. @Dbzfan836
That is true, but so is A.
How is 'they' in the sentence right?
We must look at certain details in sentences.
that is true, @ManImStumped . you win
:D God, I feel so lame fighting on this. sorry @Dbzfan836 . Here's a medal :)
The answer is D.
THANKS!!!
My mom says its D
lol thats true
Oh god the lulz @XoXo_SmileyFace_XoXo. Your mom is always right
