OpenStudy (abbles):

The following set of coordinates represents which figure? (8, 8), (6, 6), (8, 4), (10, 6)

OpenStudy (abbles):

a. Parallelogram b. Rectangle c. Rhombus d. Square

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well there's 4 coordinates

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To decide what type of shape it is we can look closer at the x and y values

OpenStudy (abbles):

Well I used the distance formula and since the lengths of each side are the same, I think it's a square? But I'm not sure because it is tilted like a rhombus when I graph it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm

OpenStudy (abbles):

Is it not a square?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Trying to decide if square or rhombus still

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A square is a type of rhombus so in this case a square would be the more specific answer

OpenStudy (abbles):

Okay thank you!
