How does a metamorphic rock turn into a sedimentary rock ?

OpenStudy (alphadxg):

(When magma is on the earth's surface, it is called lava.) As the lava cools it hardens and becomes igneous rock. As soon as new igneous rock is formed, the processes of weathering and erosion begin, starting the whole cycle over again!

@Idk33333 Basically, weathering makes the metamorphic rock break into smaller pieces, these get deposited and over time pressure and heat can fuse them into a sedimentary rock. Usually things like clay and other non-rock particles help bind it all together, and as I said before, pressure and heat turns them all into rock.
