i know a circuit breaket is used in a fridge. circuit breaker is a wire which is made frm a semiconductor material. when current passes through this wire fridge make colder nd resistance of semiconductor wire increses. at last current flow stopped nd temperature of fridge increases nd the resistance of that semiconductor decreases.

A circuit breaker, like a switch should is here to open the circuit when needed and, in doing so, stop the current in the appliance.
