Amiko is riding her bike on a wet street. As the bike wheel spins, water droplets are sprayed off tangent to the wheel. Amiko’s bike wheels have a radius of 12 inches. well you know the radius and tangent meet at right angles so you have a right triangle
with hypotenuse 13 and shorter side 12
so you can say
\[13^2 = 12^2 + b^2\]
solve for b

yeah....what they said..
