I was just curious. How did you find out about OpenStudy?

I just want your personal stories of how you found this great place.

For me, I was struggling in a few subjects, and I needed help. I go to an online school, and the questions are usually the same every year. So, one day I Google searched one of my questions, and someone had already asked it here about a year ago. What really stood out to me was how the other user really tried to help the person understand rather then just give the answer. So, I signed up and have loved being a part of OpenStudy ever since.

My bro wanted help with his work and he was like..Can you go to this website I need help..That was 2012. OS was VERY different. We were only be able to click on these boxes which had titles of subjects and ask question and wait till someone answered. I guess It was okay not to make an account back then..But then,Chat was introduced and then Openstudy totally changed..But this place is addictive and okay i have trolled,annoyed,and done everything here..but when i needed help,Everyone was there for me. That's what i love about this site! Live Help xDD And okay i have helped alot too. So yeah..

I also found OpenStudy in 2012 when I was searching for help on Google and got to know about OpenStudy. As Uri already told, OS was VERY different. SS was not there, users had different appearances. I enjoyed working on OS that time and the same is now too! I believe , OS is the best online platform to get or give help! It is really a great experience being on OS as an Ambassador , as well as a normal user and I am very happy that I'm addicted to OpenStudy (obviously, OS is better to work on rather than social networking sites. :) ) . This type of addiction has helped me a lot and as I have gone through many ups and downs, so, it is a pretty good exerpience for me! Thanks to @Preetha and team for such a great hard work!

:D OS is
a nice learning system , but i hate the idea of side talk chating i found it not good for kids <17 yr old ..
since there is alot of ppl from all ages around the world
so good for learn , but i guess kids will gain bad behaviour

wanted to solve an integral....i know i could solve it on my own, but was too lazy to do it :P
i still remember that afternoon, 6th august 2012, around 2.30 pm, i was feeling sleepy :P so i searched for online math forums and posted my integration question in few of them.
OpenStudy was the first site to help me solve it, UnkleRhakhaus also cleared all my doubts in it.
Then i started exploring the site...could solve most of the math questions, so i picked up a question from my favorite topic and started answering.....from then, i never stopped :)

Hey, OrangeMaster, its worth to mention and thank that user who "really tried to help", because of whom you're on OpenStudy and helping hundreds of other user!

It's sad that I don't know who the user was because I didn't ask the question myself, but, I am glad that they guided me here. This is a great place with even greater people. I just hope to be one of the best one day.
