is that really 11 times 1.35x?
i don't know
if the function is \[f(x)=11(1.35)x\] then you're not correct... to find the average rate of change you would need to use \[\frac{f(5) - f(1)}{5-1}\]
i'm just not sure why they would give you a function like that...it's not simplified
