Why is natural erosion a beneficial process? a. It helps create fertile soil. b. It leads to reduced vegetation. c. It happens rapidly. d. It prevents damage from natural disasters.

OpenStudy (hugsnotughs):

Hm. I did some research on the disadvantages of soil. Based on my research we can eliminate A, because erosion only causes the *loss* of soil. And based on my knowledge I know we can eliminate C. (The grand canyon didn't take a day to form cx). I think the best answer is B. Because of the loss of soil the erosion is causing, obviously that means there must also be a reduction in vegetation.
